The debate titled “Business Supports Culture – Culture Supports Business”, part of the 29th Kontakt International Theatre Festival, will focus on key questions such as: How does culture contribute to the growth of entrepreneurship? In what ways can businesses support the arts while reaping tangible benefits? Which collaborative models yield meaningful results for both sectors? These thought-provoking topics will form the core of the discussion.Among those invited are representatives from the SME sector active in the Kuyavia and Pomerania regions who collaborate with Horzyca Theatre through the project 'Kujawy+Pomorze. Promoting te Economic Potential of the Region – 3rd Edition’. This initiative fosters connections between business and cultural communities, highlighting opportunities for synergy between these fields. During the debate, participants will explore how culture can enhance the image and identity of businesses and examine the tools and strategies that effectively foster company growth through cultural involvement. Discussions will include examples of successful collaboration between businesses and cultural institutions, the role of patronage in marketing strategies, and the influence of artistic events on the investment appeal of cities and regions. Analysing the long-term benefits of cultural investment and its role in building strong connections with customers and employees will also be a key focus.
This meeting offers a valuable opportunity for an in-depth discussion on the shared benefits of collaboration between the cultural and business sectors. Participants will work together to explore ways to harness the potential of these fields to drive both economic and cultural growth in the region, while fostering enduring and meaningful partnerships built on mutual advantage.
