Although Polish People’s Republic ended nearly a quarter-century ago, we still keep coming back to it. One of the symbols of that time in Toruń was Orbis Hotel Kosmos. In this musical tale, the hotel turns into a time machine by means of which its former staff and regular guests of the restaurant will take viewers on a journey into the world of memories of the turn of 70s and 80s of the last century. A sequence of absurd events that accompanied the preparations for the Great Rout on the occasion of welcoming the mysterious visitor from the stars – the first Polish cosmonaut – becomes a pretext for storytelling, in which Polish history looks into the hotel, boggles in the minds and draws into a colorful play of imagination.
“Night in Kosmos” is a Matrix within our abilities; homey and fun, in which there will be a gallery of colorful characters taken from the reality of Polish People’s Republic, as well as the biggest hits of those years. The actors will be accompanied by a live band.
